WHAT: Pure Illumination Lip Gloss. They always have the fun stuff that 'you don't need' by the check-out counter at the pharmacy, and when I saw a display with all these pretty lip glosses, I thought I'd test it out. Ok, there is kind of a gimmick here. The tube has a mirror along one side, and when you unscrew the wand, there is a button on the top that lights up the applicator and cap with a bright LED light - so you can apply even in the dark and have a mirror with you! But that's not what sold me- it's the gloss itself. It label calls it a "Natural Hydrating Lip Therapy", and with 100% Lanolin it is thick and does feel healing. I purchased two colours: 'Carribean Coral' which is a shimmery bronze, and 'Oopsy Daisy' which is a soft pink'. They both look good on me, but I like them best layered.

WHAT: Frederic Fekkai Luscious Curls Shampoo + Conditioner. I get my hair coloured (shhhh... don't tell anyone it's not natural. ha) at the Fekkai Salon, and my awesome colorist Errin tried their new 'Luscious Curls' products on my hair last time. First, I have to say this. Fekkai has the BEST SMELLING PRODUCTS OUT THERE. HANDS DOWN. This shampoo + conditioner is great to use for anyone with dry or processed hair, don't let the 'curls' title lead you to think it's only for enhancing curly hair. It smells like oranges.... yummy.

WHAT: Proraso Sapone de Barba. I ordered this on Amazon, like I do a lot of things, based soly on the ratings of previous users. I love to browse Amazon and refine my search by highest ratings (and read all the feedback) to find new products to try. Since I wear an Italian men's cologne, I thought I'd give this Italian men's shaving cream a try too. I am glad I did. First, one tube lasts a long time. But what I like best about it is that it has Eucalyptus Oil + Menthol which REALLY gives your skin a tingling feeling. And after your shave, your skin truly feels squeaky clean, like traditional soap leaves.
